What is IOP?
An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a higher level of care than standard outpatient (OP) treatment while still allowing clients to maintain their current living situation. It’s ideal for individuals who need structured support but do not require 24/7 supervision in a residential facility.
How It Works
IOP typically involves multiple therapy sessions each week, including individual counseling, group therapy, and education about addiction and mental health. Regular drug screening provides accountability and a tool to monitor progress. Clients can attend treatment during the day or evening so they can continue work, school, or family responsibilities.
Benefits of IOP
- Flexible scheduling for life responsibilities
- Supportive peer groups coupled with professional care
- Development of relapse prevention skills
- Smooth transition from inpatient rehab to independent living
Our IOP program provides the structure and accountability needed for recovery while encouraging independence and personal growth.
